Launching Rockets with DV8-9

On tuesday 10/7 DV 8-9 took advantage of a perfect fall day to launch a fleet of rockets that we have been building in order to study forces and motion.  Rockets provide a fun and exciting means to study concepts like velocity, acceleration, newton’s laws, forces and motion.  As the photos show, fun was had by all! Special thanks to Anne Majusiak for taking photos, and to Mary Hogan School for allowing us to use their fields for the launch.
